ABOUT US

Božidar Jakac Gallery – Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is an art museum whose activities primarily cover the area of ​​Bela Krajina, Dolenjska and Posavija, and at the same time its program is open to the entire Slovenian and international art scene. The museum is focused on processing and presenting art of the 20th and 21st centuries, especially the period of early modernism after 1918, mature modernism after 1945 and contemporary artistic practices.
