2nd Exhibition in the Graphic Cabinet Bogdana Borčića

This selection presents works from his series on shells. In the early 1970s, Borčić reduced the previously depicted (coastal) marine and fishermen’s motifs to a single figure – the clam. The conch reflects the artist’s conceptual orientation, which was based on the collection and further analytical semantic-formal level of the treatment of the conch and lasted for a whole decade.
