Margarita Poueva was born in 1950 in Pernik, Bulgaria. She graduated from sculpture at the Cyril and Method University in Veliko Tarnovo. She had several solo and group exhibitions in Bulgaria. Her work is also exhibited in Bulgarian National Gallery collection in Sofia.
