Skupna panojska razstava v Galeriji Božidar Jakac – Muzeju moderne in sodobne umetnosti ponuja vpogled v kulturno krajino obeh cistercijanskih samostanov, nekdanjega v Kostanjevici na Krki in še delujočega v Stični. Po splošnem uvodu o zgodovini cistercijanskega reda in obeh samostanih v Sloveniji, so glavne značilnosti cistercijanske kulturne krajine predstavljene po tematskih sklopih: gospodarski in obrambni objekti, vinogradništvo, grangije (pristave), mlinarstvo, dvorci in gradovi, cerkve, ribniki in gozdovi. Podatke o elementih kulturne krajine smo zbirali v preteklih letih in jih vnesli v mednarodno spletno bazo, ki je služila kot osnova za vsebinske sklope. Razstavo dopolnjujejo muzejski predmeti in replike, ki so povezani z obema samostanoma. Razstava bo na ogled tudi v Muzeju krščanstva na Slovenskem naslednje leto od 18. 9. do 21. 12. 2025.
