Bojan Golija: A Retrospective

The first major posthumous retrospective of works by Slovene graphic artist and art educator Bojan Golija (1932-2014) offers an opportunity for a comprehensive evaluation of the artist’s exceptional and varied opus. Studies under the mentorship of Božidar Jakac, and a formative journey to Japan in 1957, inspired a life dedicated to the explorations of the possibilities of graphic arts, and devoted to visual arts education at the Faculty of Education at the University of Maribor.

The exhibition was created by Umetnostna galerija Maribor in cooperation with the International Centre of Graphic Arts in Ljubljana, University of Maribor and Faculty of Education at the University of Maribor.
