Traces of Art: 50th Anniversary of GBJ

Date: 27. 11. 2025
Time: 10:00

This year, we launched a special program at the Božidar Jakac Gallery – Traces of Art. It is an opportunity for relaxed socializing and in-depth exploration of the world of art, where no prior knowledge is required – just curiosity!

Every last Thursday of the month, we will meet in the morning and, in a relaxed atmosphere, discover the stories told by art through the gallery’s exhibitions and collections.

In September, we are starting the last series of gatherings this year, concluding with the gallery’s 50th anniversary.

III: 50th Anniversary of GBJ

September 25 – The Last Fifty Years: Introduction to the exhibition Trajectories
October 30 – The Next Fifty Years: Curators at Work
November 27 – Fifty Years Ago: The Historical Development of Artistic Activity in Kostanjevica
December 18 – Trajectoriest: Shifts; Interventions in Permanent Exhibitions on the Occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the GBJ

The gatherings are free of charge for Friends of the GBJ, otherwise an entrance fee is charged for the visit. To facilitate the organization of the event, please register by September 24, 2025. Registrations are being collected at info@galerija-bj.si or 07 49 88 140.
