The jazz ensemble TiTiTi, composed of experienced and virtuoso musicians from a variety of genres and styles, will perform in the courtyard of Galerija Božidar Jakac. The concert will feature primarily material from the albums Izba (2024) and Štafelaj (2022), which draw conceptual inspiration from the paintings of Jože Tisnikar.

TiTiTi is a quartet that moves between carefully crafted compositions, improvisation, and completely free-form playing. Their music can be airy and subtle, but also quite wild – melodies can suddenly break into noise, the rhythm slips away, and the four musicians piece it back together. They are exceptionally well-rehearsed, yet leave plenty of room for surprises. Their “free jazz” is playful, unpredictable, and highly dynamic, making it best experienced live. In 2024, they released their second album, Izba, which they will perform in its entirety during the concert.
