We have a job vacancy for a maintenance technician / janitor.


Galerija Božidar Jakac is seeking candidates for the position of lead maintenance technician and janitor on a permanent basis (40 hours/week, 3-month probationary period, 5th level of education required).


The position of museum technician includes:

maintaining museum buildings, spaces, and equipment; performing minor maintenance tasks and equipment repairs; ensuring the smooth operation of security systems; carrying out minor carpentry and other tasks related to the museum’s programmes and activities; maintaining green areas and mowing, assisting with exhibition setups and event organisation, overseeing regular capital and maintenance projects, coordinating the technical department, inspecting the museum complex, etc.


Job requirements:

Class B driver’s license, manual dexterity, ability to operate a chainsaw and similar equipment, basic knowledge of horticulture, ability to work at heights.
