Traces of Art – A Gathering with Art
educational programme for adults
last Thursday of each month (May-August), 10.00-12.00
At the Galerija Božidar Jakac we continue with the Traces of Art programme. This is an opportunity for relaxed socialising and in-depth exploration of the world of art, where no prior knowledge is required – just curiosity!
On the last Thursday of every month, we will meet in the morning and in a relaxed atmosphere, through the Gallery’s exhibitions and collections, discover together the stories that art tells.
II. Cistercians: History, Architecture and Cultural Landscape
29 May: History of the Cistercians and the Cistercian cultural landscape
26 June: Architecture of the Kostanjevica Monastery
31 July.: Hidden corners of the monastery
28 August: Guided hike through the cultural landscape points of the international Cistercian Trail
We will continue to follow the trail of art throughout the year, exploring the areas covered by the GBJ. Join us for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the GBJ Gallery (September-December).
These events are free for Friends of the GBJ, otherwise there is an admission charge. To help organise your event, please register at info@galerija-bj.si or 07 49 88 140.
