Razstava, ki je plod sodelovanja med Galerijo Božidar Jakac, Kostanjevica na Krki in Moderno galerijo, Zagreb, bo prikazala študijske vezi med slovenskimi študenti zagrebške likovne akademije in povezave z njihovimi najbolj pomembnimi profesorji v obdobju med obema vojnama (V. Becić, L. Babić, I. Meštrović, K. Hegedušić). Ob tem bomo izpostavili nekatere najbolj izstopajoče osebnosti slovenske in hrvaške umetnosti 20. stoletja in njihova umetniška dela (F. Mihelič, Z. Mušič, S. Kregar, F. Smerdu, N. Pirnat, M. Pregelj, M. Sedej).


The Importance of Zagreb for Slovenian Painting between 1927 and 1941

The study exhibition which is the result of close collaboration between GBJ - Božidar Jakac Art Museum, Kostanjevica na Krki, and Modern Gallery, Zagreb showcases the results of an ongoing research on the significance of artistic ties between Slovenian artist studying the Academy of Fine Art in Zagreb and their most important professors (V. Becić, L. Babić, I. Meštrović, K. Hegedušić) in the period between the wars. Therefore, the show presents some of the most outstanding personalities of Slovenian and Croatian visual art of the 20th century and their art works (F. Mihelič, Z. Mušič, S. Kregar, F. Smerdu, N. Pirnat, M. Pregelj, M. Sedej).
