In 1971, he graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana and completed his postgraduate studies in the class of professor Slavko Tihec and professor Drago Tršar. He worked as a professor of sculpture at the Faculty od Education in Ljubljana. He was a member of the Junij group, Slovene (neo)avant-garde group in the 1970s and 1980s. In 1979 he received Prešeren Foundation award. He died in 1997.
