In 1954, graduated Sculpture at the academy of Fine Arts.  In 1956, finished postgraduate studies in the class of Prof. Zdenko and Boris Kalin. He is the author of 16 public monuments in Slovenia. His birth house holds about 100 of his works. In 1964, he received the award of Prešeren Foundation and in 1988 Šešek’s award for life achievements. He was a honoured resident of Kočevje (2000) and Ribnica (2007) municipalities. Died in 2011.
