In 1982 he graduated at the at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. In 1984 he completed his postgraduate studies in the class of professor Gustav Gnamuš. He received number of awards (Prešeren Student Award, Golden Bird Award, 1986). He works as a painter and a sculptor.
