Born in 1917 in Sv. Ivan Zelina (Croatia). In 1949, graduated at the Technical Faculty in Zagreb.  He is one of the most prominent architects of 20th century in Croatia. Also engaged with sculpture, painting, print and scenography. He received golden medal at Milano Triennale, Biennial award at Sao Paolo, Herder award, Medal of Republic of Croatia etc. Died in Zagreb on December 2nd 2002.
