Tone Kralj was born in 1900 in Zagorica near Dobrepolje, Slovenia. In 1920-1923 he studied art in Prague and subsequently in Vienna, Paris and Venice while he also studied architecture in Rome. Božidar Jakac Art Museum houses permanent collection of his work. At the Forma Viva symposium, he made sculpture Three Epochs of Life, based on his own drawing from 1921. He died in 1975, and he was buried at Kostanjevica na Krki’s cemetery.
