Born in 1932 in Drvenik Veli. In 1958 graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of Prof. Vanja Radauš. Since 1987 he works as a Professor at the Fine Art academy in Zagreb. His work has been exhibited at more than 350 group and 20 solo exhibitions. Received numerous awards. Since 1991. he is a member of HAZU. His sculpture Cross with a Dove has been given to Pope Giovanni Paolo II by Republic of Croatia in 2002. He died in 2018 in Zagreb.
