Ryszard Litwiniuk was born in 1966 in the city of Olsztyn, Poland. In 1992, he graduated in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. Between 1998 and 2013 he lived and worked in Canada and since his return to Poland has lived and worked in Warsaw and the region of Zulawy. His practice spans from sculpture, print, drawing to installations. He attends sculpture symposia across the world, at which he usually works in wood or stone.
