Peruško Bogdanić was born in 1949 in Stari Grad on the island Hvar, Croatia. In 1976 he graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb in the class of professor Vjekosav Rukljaća. Since 1995 he has been a lecturer of sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. In the period 1969-2000 he had been the president of HDLU.
