Niculae Seaptefrati was born in 1947 in Jurilovca, Romania. He graduated in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Bucharest in 1974. He worked as a teacher, curator and set designer. In 2003-2004, he worked as a free-lance artist in Bucharest. His works are exhibited in the collection of Modern Art Museum in Galacia, Romania. The sculpcture, made during his stay in Kostanjevica, is his last monumental work, for he died in November 2004.
