Mustafa Skopljak was born in 1947 in Kotor Varoš. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 1970. In 1988, he completed his postgraduate degree at the same academy. He worked as a professor of sculpture at the Sarajevo Academy of Fine Arts and at the faculty of Education in Mostar. He participated in more than twenty sculpture symposia. He died in Sarajevo in 2015.
